So for the past few days or so, I've been contemplating starting a steampunk roleplay. Ever since I spent a great deal of time on designing a character for a roleplay that never went through, I regretted not being able to use the character. So my dear friends, I was curious. If I started one up somewhere (I still haven't decided on forum based or journal based, probably the latter), would anyone be interested? It would kinda suck if I made up this huge thing and had it collapse right under me. xD; Essentially, it would start out in a city, with the characters getting to know each other through exploration, that sort of thing -- eventually going out towards an adventure of some sort. I already have the plot outlined, so it wouldn't just be a shot in the dark. As far as characters go -- I would probably allow existing characters as well as OCs, if it came to that, since existing character RPs are generally more popular. But at any rate. Please, friends, tell me what you think, so I have something to go off of other than my own 'whee RPs are fun, let's do this! :B' mental state. Thanks~ |

So my mother and I are insane and got a free (although terribly adorable) rat terrier puppy. She's only 10 weeks old and is quite energetic. xDD Although she enjoys her playtime, she's also a great lap puppy. xD Anyway, I now bombard you with pictures, so that you may share in her cute. Well it's been a while, IJ. I'm living with my mom, still trying to get a job, but I'm probably going to apply at Safeway (eew). School has been going well, and I've been having fun, with the exception of the stress of trying to find a job. Started a gang, where I'm the leader and I've got four underlings. It's good stuff. At any rate, just letting you all know that I'm alive and doing fairly well, considering. ^^ |

Sooooo. Let's summarize, shall we? My landlady was just using my money for the two months that I stayed there so that she could pay her bills before she decided to kick me out. I am living with my mother, who, while having the benefit of cable and food, lives in the middle of nowhere so there isn't a convenient 'I can go home whenever I want' feel. However, I have made two new wonderful friends, Hige-kun and Nick, who are pretty much Shunsui and Ukitake from Bleach in a nutshell. I love them muchly. ♥ Nick was even so kind as to lend me DDS, which made me writhe in orgasmic glee, and I promptly began playing it. Mmmm cannibals. I also came to realize just this morning that I can style my hair to mimic Heat's. And I laugh. Things have been going fairly well for the most part, trying to get a second job to pull in more income, school has been... rocky in that I've been having difficulties with my German homework (i.e. getting the website to work so that I can actually DO the homework), but otherwise not terribly bad. All in all, I am ever optimistic and am planning to take a trip to Chicago this summer to try and 'evolve' my person, i.e. live in the big city and get a job. xD; It'll be a good experience for me, and I'll be able to spend some time with my sister, her husband and their little squirt. -laughs- Hopefully I won't enter 'babies are useless omg ARGGHSHUTUPHATE' mode. :D! But that's pretty much it. Been drawing a lot of uhm. Stuff. Still wanting to post my art up on the internet, but alas. DDD: My mother only has dialup, and I'd rather commit seppuku than wait for a page to load. So I generally only get online at school, which is fairly rare in itself. Oh well, I am happy, and that is what matters. :) |

So I've moved to a new place in Westside Santa Cruz. It's... nice, in that the family is really nice and it's a good area, but the buses are infrequent. I'll probably have to get a bicycle, or worse, learn to drive. -shudders at the thought- School starts on Tuesday and I've my first day of work tomorrow (which reminds me, I gotta get to bed. D:). I'm a bit anxious, but I think it'll go better than I think. I'm good at memorizing things, and I'm pretty sure I've got almost everything still memorized from training. But we'll see with that whole, on the job 'oh shit, I can't remember anything' moment that most likely will happen. At any rate. Things are going well, just a little rocky with getting settled. Can't wait to see my girlfriend, she's coming down on the 29th. That will be good for me. A little lovin's. ♥ |

So I got my powercord, which, naturally, means I have my computer back. I am so very glad for this, as I've waited waaaaaaaaaaay too long for it. I've missed talking to all my friends and I've really missed CGing. It's sad too, because I've improved as an artist while I've been gone and I wished I could've spent that time practicing CGing as well as pencil and ink drawing. D: Alas. At any rate, I must now attatch my scanner, as I have a buttload of art to scan and fix and post on y!gallery. xD; It's good to be back. |

So my phone is being turned off because my parents are broke and they can't pay for the fact that I didn't know that some of my friends aren't on Verizon. So, basically, I'm totally fucked if anyone wants to call me for more hours, or really, any sort of communication whatsoever. Lovely. Really, especially good when I'm trying to find a job after a friend stole the one I could've had and been happy with. Naturally, life decides that it's only allowed to be nice to me for about a month before it decides to fuck me around some more. Real nice, life, real nice. So I update rarely since I don't have a working computer still, and whenever I do go online, I totally space out on updating. So that's my reason. Yaoi-con was. Hmm. How shall I say this..? ...Amazing? Awesome? Splendiforous? Supercalifragilisticexplialidouchus? Yeah. That works. So, like, as some of you may know, in fact, I'm sure most of you know, but I thought I'd say it anyway; I am no longer single. Fuck yeah, screw you singality, you are lame and full of masturbation. ANYWAY. And mustard, too, apparently. ANYWAY (again). Yes, I have a TWOO WUV, and yes, I am so totally hyper, blame the severe lack of sanity and Ramune (probably also due to being in the same vi- no, nevermind) Moving along. No longer single, yes? (She's amazing.) And school is going okay. Kinda sorta not really liking my life drawing class anymore, as we're not doing much more than drawing naked people, which is all fine and dandy, but not teaching me much. >: German is still good and I'm always enjoying Philosophy, even if it is challenging. Work is... meh. They're not giving me enough hours, so I'm looking into a second job. Hopefully I'll be able to get one before long. Or else. -doom like music- So yes. >_> That part is notsogood. I really need to find someone to distract me. It's that time of the year again and I need to not think about it. I'm better than that and I need to get over it. It's almost been a year now. I still want to rip her hair out. On another note. Had a birthday, turned twenty and yaoi-con is coming up. Technically shouldn't go, but I really don't care. I'm not going to miss something I need to do on account of saving a few bucks. I'll earn it back in no time. It will be good to see my friends again. I miss you guys a lot. I hope to see you soon. Also, am drawing up a storm, and I think I've finally managed to get to a point with my drawing skill where I'll seriously consider taking commissions, and not just as an emergency money supply. Well, some of you might be wondering where I am, others, well, might not care. -laughs- The good news is! I'm thoroughly enjoying my classes, I have a new place to live and I may get a job interview for a better paying job soon. The bad news is, my cheeks are resembling that of a chipmunk and I have nightmares about them being bowling balls filled with explosive beer due to the vicodin (had my wisdom teeth extracted) and I still haven't gotten my new computer charger. So, essentially, I have a freaking ton of reading to do on my flist, and it may take me a few months to get to it all. -laughs- In other news, it will be my birthday soon and I'm a bit down that my mom won't be around to be there for me. No, she'll be away in Wien (Vienna) and the rest of Österreich (Austria) along with my sister, brother in law and nephew. Poo. BUT. I have yaoi-con for my birthday so neener neener neener. -makes immature faces involving the tongue that probably look far more comical now that his face is resembling that of a fish- -clears throat- At any rate, I'm slowly weening myself off of the evil vicodin, so I'd best go finish the rest of my work before I get a dizzy spell. So, as you know may figure, I am still without computer, however, school has started, and therefore, so has usage of the CTC, and internet! I am still looking for a place to live, which is becoming increasingly difficult, and by the tenth of this month, I'll be homeless (if I don't find a place, naturally). Fortunately, I have lovely friends that tell me that I'm free to crash at their place, so here's hoping I don't have to impose upon their generosity. >: At any rate, I've had two of the classes I'll be taking this term today. Life Drawing, and German 1. Both classes seem to be excellent, I'm really excited about the German class as I seem to have hit the jackpot with my teacher. She's really nice, she makes fun of her own country and language (thusly, laid back) and wants to take us all out to dinner at a German restaurant and watch lots of movies and do presentations about things you like about the culture of Germany, i.e. share with us your obsession with Rammstein. Seriously, so awesome. The life drawing class also seems to be totally awesome, as it is not all about getting 'Correct' anatomy, but more focused on capturing the figure in itself. Which is totally awesome. Plus, he showed an anime drawing in his slides, and that's just fucking awesome. So, I'm pretty psyched about that, just need to focus on finding a place to live, and I think I'm set for a bit. :D |
